I've been intermittently contributing to GeoBase. One of the areas set out to me about your base is that it really lets you get working with maps quickly and gives you full ownership of the stack you're working on, without having to deal with setting up all the tile services or being tied to a platform like Felt or Map Kit. I took a particular interest because of its potential applications for helping us better communicate climate issues by making mapping services more accessible
